Ernst Dähler
President
While studying law at the University of Zurich, in 1982 I started selling cars to fellow students who wanted to spend a few months in the U.S. In 1985 we started to rent motorcycles also. Then in 1987 we had a first small fleet of 17 Class B motorhomes. Over the next 18 years we became #3 in the U.S. RV-rental market under the trade name of Moturis. In 2008, Moturis sold it’s business to Camping World where I stayed at the helm of the rental division through the end of 2014. Forced into “retirement” by the decision of Camping World to exit the rental market, seeing a great staff sitting idle in the U.S. and searching for jobs in Switzerland, with all my knowledge and experience I had the vision of creating the “right little boutique style” rental and sales company I always wanted to create and lead. And here we are today! With a great and motivated staff and a ton of experience and knowledge, we set our goals to provide the best possible rental and sales experience to our customers.

I have 35+ years of dealing with the public in all facets of retailing. I worked for A&S Department Stores, in NY, for 8 years where I held all of the Operations positions available from Sales Person to Operations Manager. Then, I moved on to a nationwide Newsstand company, Eastern Lobby Shops where I held the positions of District Sales Manager, National Director of Loss Prevention and Regional Sales Manager in Chicago, Il. Following Eastern Lobby Shops, I moved to Florida and opened my own business US Pak-N-Ship. I joined Moturis Inc. in June 2004 where I learned the RV Rental and Sales business. I worked several years with Camping World RV and in March of 2015 with over 10 years of RV experience for myself, we rounded up our long time staff from Moturis Inc. and opened Best Time RV Inc. In the decade I have been in the RV business, I have enjoyed being a part of thousands of people’s vacations and helping to make them the Best they could be!
